Lecturer profile
Stephan Weitsz
Software lecturer focused on Python, robotics, and beginner-friendly problem solving.
About this lecturer
In addition to web development, I have a strong interest in Arduino, Python, MicroPython, robotics, and artificial intelligence. I incorporate these areas into my teaching to ensure students gain hands-on experience with technologies shaping the future—because writing code is one thing, but making it interact with the real world is where things get interesting.
My approach to teaching focuses on practical understanding, problem-solving, and preparing students for real development environments (and yes, debugging is part of the curriculum).
When I’m not coding, I enjoy exploring new technologies and refining my workflow to build better, more efficient systems.

Open courseThis course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of programming in a clear, practical, and engaging way. Whether you have no prior experience or are looking to strengthen your understanding, this course will guide you step by step through the building blocks of writing code. You will learn how to think like a programmer by breaking down problems into logical steps, creating algorithms, and translating them into working programs. Key topics include variables, data types, conditions, loops, and basic debugging techniques. Throughout the course, real-world examples and hands-on exercises will help you apply what you learn immediately. By the end of this course, you will be able to write simple programs, understand how software works behind the scenes, and have a solid foundation to continue into more advanced programming topics. No prior coding knowledge is required—just curiosity, patience, and a willingness to learn.
